Domaine Roger & Didier Raimbault
The legacy of a land: the story of the Raimbault family
For decades, the Raimbault name has been synonymous with steep hillsides and verdant vineyards. The family has cultivated vines for generations, a know-how passed down from father to son that lies at the heart of their identity. This history is etched into every plot of the estate and reflected in every bottle they produce.
An alliance of tradition and innovation
For the Raimbault family, winemaking is a matter of passion and balance. They combine ancestral experience with modern techniques to cultivate the vines and produce exceptional wines. Their goal is to enhance the unique terroir that surrounds them, while preserving the singularity of each vintage. It is this commitment that allows them to offer us wines that are both complex and authentic.
The secret of our terroir: the authenticity of our wines
Their vines are perched on hills ranging in altitude from 200 to 400 meters. They are planted in limestone and clay-limestone soils, which impart a unique minerality and structure to their wines. Some of their plots, with slopes reaching up to 40%, benefit from varied exposures that contribute remarkable complexity and aromatic richness. Each bottle tells the story of a year, a climate, and a soil, for a truly memorable tasting experience.
Their gravity-flow winery perfectly illustrates this philosophy. This system allows them to handle the grapes and wine with the utmost care. This respect for the raw material is the key to the finesse and purity of their wines.
They are proud to share the soul of their land with you through their wines. Each bottle is the fruit of their labor, their passion, and the respect they have for this land that has given them everything.
