Hop on a vintage scooter for a journey between Vouvray and Amboise and enjoy the riches of our local heritage. (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday)


PROGRAM*: Morning (9:30 AM)


Get your equipment (helmets and gloves), hop on your vintage scooter, and let’s go! Our first stop takes us to the heart of the local craft scene. At a local ceramicist's studio, we will spend an hour crafting a beautiful botanical board. Then, we’ll take the countryside backroads, lined with vineyards, to reach a troglodyte cave. There, the winemaker will open the doors to his museum, revealing the secrets of winemaking before a tasting of his cuvées. On-site, we will enjoy a delicious picnic made of local products.


Afternoon


We will continue our escape along the "Road of Beautiful Estates" towards Amboise. We’ll stop in the park of a magnificent château, where time seems to stand still. Then, to awaken your inner child, we’ll visit the Confectionery Conservatory in Amboise. We’ll head back along the left bank of the Loire and end the day on a high note by discovering a local traditional game dating back to the 18th century, now part of France's intangible cultural heritage. End of the day at 6:00 PM.
